As I was wondering what the next step might be after crafting a polished stone axe,
I suddenly recalled the Mano-Pantea, an ancient Egyptian amulet featuring two fingers.
It is an ancient Egyptian talisman symbolizing healing and protection, said to have served as the prototype for the Hamsa hand.
Carving stone takes an immense amount of time.
It might not be an exaggeration to say that the process itself is a form of prayer.
I created this by tirelessly polishing a black stone that had washed up on the beach.
I don’t know if it has become a talisman, but just looking at it, I can truly feel that it is no longer merely a tool.
